Mejor Foto del Año 2017
Ronaldo Schemidt, autor de la gráfica, recibió el reconocimiento por la fotografía titulada "Crisis en Venezuela" ,El fotógrafo venezolano Ronaldo Schemidt ganó el 12 de Abril de 2018, el premio a Mejor Foto del Año otorgado por World Press Photo con una imagen de las protestas en Venezuela durante el 2017
La fotografía enfoca a un joven con una máscara que corre mientras las llamas abrazan su cuerpo. En la pared detrás del joven se lee la palabra “paz” junto a un arma de fuego la fotografía titulada “Crisis en Venezuela” compitió junto a otras cinco fotografías que reflejan distintos conflictos en el mundo.
“La imagen tiene una energía instantánea y dinámica. Esta muy bien compuesta, tiene fuerza. Es una emoción instantánea”, comentó el presidente del jurado que otorgó el reconocimiento a Schemidt.
“Hay un pequeño detalle en la imagen. Había un arma en la pared. Se lee “paz””, expresó otro miembro del jurado.

Juan Barreto, otro fotógrafo venezolano, ganó el tercer lugar de World Press Photo en la categoría Spot News Series por una fotografía que resalta a un grupo de manifestantes con máscaras junto al fuego y escombros esparcidos en el piso.
A través de las redes sociales los venezolanos expresaron el apoyo a los fotógrafos

Hola @wparra94 que impresionante las fotografías, te doy unas recomendaciones para que tengas mejor empeño en la plataforma, en steemit se valora el contenido original y no es recomendable copiar contenido ni usar fotografías sin libre derecho de autor, el uso del tag steemit es solo para hablar de la red social.
