If the photographer wants to create the best, most beautiful night shots, they need to shoot with the best image quality and RAW is the best format. With RAW image format, the image retains the most detail, giving the photographer a series of options to tweak the image with Adobe Camera Raw or other RAW editing software (DPP canon , ViewNX2, Capture NX2 ...).
