A muse on love

Love is more than a feeling, it's an action. It is the ability to go to great lengths to ensure the happiness of someone dear. Love has so many teachings to it, but we fail to ask ourselves this question: how does love apply to you?

The problem with the wrong teachings on love is that if we get carried away with the wrong teachings on love, we will be consoled by the teachings of regret. There are so many teachings on love indeed but one seems to hold true above the rest. It is the teaching that if you want someone or something, never be afraid to go for it.

The reason why I call it true is because at the end of the day we answer for our decisions and ours only.
You love a man or woman, say how you feel. Don't let fear or indecision cripple you from making possibly the best decision of your life and putting you in regret. If the decision bites you in the ass, you'll know you at least tried.

A couple who have been married for so many years once gave me an advice. They told me of their story about how they almost separated when they were dating due to incessant fighting. Everyone told them to go their separate ways and somehow they stayed together. They realized that the problem was that they fought because they were not on the same plane emotionally.

They took time out, they decided to consciously put aside any trait that'll jeopardize their relationship. At first it seemed impossible, then it seemed hard, then it became a routine and now they laugh over things that'll usually get them angry. They have five kids now and they are happily married.

Imagine they took that advice, how would it have turned out? Soemtimes because it seems logical doesn't make it logical. A step in love might seem like the only option, but if you actually find the good in the bad, focus on the positives when you see just negatives, when you believe in what you both share despite it seeming otherwise, then you'll survive an eternity.

Sorrows may come by night, but joy comes in the morning. There are moments when you feel like killing the other person, moments when you'll feel like quitting, moments when you feel like running away or hating the other person. In those moments, focus on the positive side of that person and show love. Believe me, you'll receive so much love, you will feel so much love that you'll become radiant.
I love love. Love and let love!

This is a powerful write-up indeed @ehiboss

It is the teaching that if you want someone or something, never be afraid to go for it.

It's quite difficult though, I have been there, but now my only regret was not trying.

Somemtimes because it seems logical doesn't make it logical.

Yea, that's true. Love is not a logical thing at all, if you use logical, omo, you are on your own. Times would come when you see sometimes as illogical but you do it out of love and at the end, you are happy with that special someone.

I really like the write-up @ehiboss

There's various depictionsof love out there: some say its giving someone the reins to your "mumu button", my dad says it's the ability to drop our innate pride. whatever the case, love is a big deal.
