I've tasted what was probably illegal moonshine & it was strong. It also didn't show a flame if someone lit it on fire.... o_O
It's nice to know this stuff is legal. :D
Haha Deb. I drank the illegal stuff once and it nearly burned my throat. I went to the beach with a couple friends and one lady brought a bottle of what she thought was wine. She poured the three of us a drink. We clinked glasses. toasted and down the hatch. Not being much of a drinker, I sputtered and coughed, thinking this is strong wine. After one gulp she realized it was moonshine her husband had been given by someone who has a still and makes his own illegally. It was put in a wine bottle.
We still laugh thinking about the look on each of our faces with the first mouthful.
