Anderson Speaks out about A1

So last weekend was a strange start to the Monster Energy Supercross series at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim. The reigning champion, you know the guy who carries the only red plate in the premier 450 SX class, well fans are baffled as to who was riding his bike...
Anderson had a great start and exited the first corner in third place positioning him for not only a good finish but a shot at the win! That, however was not what happened and he dropped back to fourteenth without any crashing or big mistakes to be seen. He did not make himself available after the race for any interviews and it has been a swirl of speculation ever since but now he has broken the silence to explain what happened.

I can understand this, some people are not born ready and although it might look like most pro riders are solid stress free machines that get it done no mater what is happening this is never the case. Sure some can tune it out better than others but the season opener for Supercross is a stressfull place and just take a look at the riders lining up beside him. It looks like it was just a little too much for Anderson on the night and i think it shows a more human side to him. I think we will see a much differnt rider this weekened, I'm not saying he will decimate the field but i think we can expect a good show from El Hombre this time round :)

His consistency was the winner last year. It's certainly odd to start off this year with such a poor performance. I think the good news is this will be the opposite situation than he had last year where for most of it, he had to "manage" a significant lead. This year he's going to be much freer to challenge for the lead.
