Well this year was certainly a record breaker for everyone's favourite veteran Chad Reed. At round eight of the Monster Energy Supercross event in Tampa we saw his break Mike LaRocco's record for the most Supercross starts ever in history by a pro rider.

Unfortunately he had a mechanical problem in the Main Event which took the shine off the record breaking race but he continued on for the rest of the season and he certainly laid out his intent in Vegas!

A mistake by Tomac saw the Veteran rider shoot past him to grab the holeshot in the 450 Heat race and he held out for half the race against an ever pressuring Tomac. The Kawasaki rider managed to get past him and i think we were all pleased to see Reed hold on to get second place. Amazing and a tribute to the effort he still puts in to every race he is part of.

He has released a video of the recent Monster Energy Supercross final in Vegas where we get to follow him round and he also speaks very openly about his future from here on. A must watch for any Supercross fan!
