Gared "Stank Dog" Steinke slayer rider!

The Rockwell Racing Yamaha team have announced today that Gared "Stank Dog" Steinke will be racing the final two rounds of the 250SX West Region in the Monster Energy Supercross series. The team has been left with just one rider after Mitchell Harrison was drafted up by Bud Racing Kawasaki to race in the FIM Motocross World Championship.
That news in itself is big but to really mark the occasion it has also been announced that legendary rock band Slayer will be sponsoring the rider at this weekends event in Denver. This will see Steinke decked out with custom Slayer branded Leatt gear! Pretty cool i think you will agree!
Steinke has spent the last few years racing in the Amsoil Arenacross series but has been out of action this year due to the injuries he picked up at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm event.
