Steemit Vision Quest 15: 'Far Away' : Poetry Pentagrams Petals and Porridge

The times I have been so lost
feeling some piece was missing
In search of my whole being
I traveled far and wide
to find all of myself
only to realize I'm not of this earth
As I looked to the heavens
the constellations
eternally
watching over me
the stars
flickering
& whispering
you are made of us
cosmic dust
and the journey
is as divine
as vision at the end
of the rainbows
that you seek
let your inner light guide you there
in your truest essence
past present &
from the future
radiating
never forget
you're a star seed

So the stars are big balls of burning gasses far away but from my perspective they look like pointed stars! It's funny how perspective depends on so many factors. For instance I had been seeing stuff about vision quest all over discord, for some reason I thought it was something completely different, or maybe it's that people use the name 'vision quest #svq' for a lot of things. Either we may perception was totally tunnel vision, like when a horse has to where blinkers so it stays focused on the distance but not things right up close in its vision. Its not natural for the horse to wear this device neither is it healthy for humans just to focus on something we feel like we can never obtain and ignore the little things day to day, that we believe are not as important as the end goal.

Well i'm always having my mind blown and transforming frequently. Up until recently having my breakfast was something I just didn't care about that much, some quick porridge no frills, I didn't have time for it, so that was it. But now I'm starting to take my time like it's a meditation. I've noticed by doing some more self care techniques that are close to me and within my reach, I have more energy to go for the stars and grasp those visions that are seemingly far away but in reality are not, when you take each day at a time.

We are often told, you need to be busy, you have to do things quickly, you must have everything figured out and achieve your goals before middle age then save every penny for the last part of your life where you can just relax, most of the people who live like this, don't have time for morning breakfast and meditation.

So recently I took a job and decided to quit on the same day, when I sent a polite email as to why I wasn't going to return. Basically because the environment was unhealthy and I didn't think it was going to suit me. The response I got was 'don't look at the micro look at the macro and how you can be successful here'

Every part of our being, everything around only exists and works because of the microcosm with the two we would not have life its self. We are the microcosm of the macrocosm, we are living universes and each day we live in a beautiful reality, that we have been taught, we are separate from, that is difficult, painful even evil. If we want to change our reality, if we want to live in our dreams everyday, then it starts with you and your relationship to the world around you. Take the time to love and care for yourself, nourish self and love will pour out of you. The things that you wanted you will realize aren't that far away after all.

Thanks to @trucklife-family I found out these little cucumber tasting, five pointed purple flowers were edible and so good for you, they even open the heart to due to their anti-depressant effects, even the process of picking them lifts the mood. As you can see I went to a bit crazy for them, and picked a whole load. Don't worry I left enough for the bees to enjoy because they are also a big fan of the star flower (borage). Finding simple ways to connect with nature and nourish yourself will feed the mind, body and spirit 💚💚💚💚💚
