Formation of aircraft in Odessa

Since the very first day of foundation, the city became the most important center of the South of Ukraine, both industrial, and trade. Here the largest ports, the enterprises of the industry are located and generally the city became just tremendous resort.

There is air gate of Ukraine – the International airport with the same name "Odessa" of the same name, many passengers use its services in case of what every year. Passengers is hundreds of thousands!

Opening of the airport took place on the twenty first of May in 1924. The airport at that time made weeds Kharkiv – Elisavetgrad (it is nowadays Dnipropetrovsk) – Odessa. In addition to the airport, (19240), in the field under the interesting name "Strelbishchnom", the air station is based. It was the first station for that time.

It is a lot of earlier, (1908) in Odessa it was for the first time decided to create a meeting "Odessa aeroclub" which took place in March, thanks to participants of "Scientific and sporting society". Incredibly, but weeds on a glider or an air-gas full-sphere, jumps from a parachute, all this, then brought wild delight to many residents and guests of Odessa.

In 1910 the first was made weeds in all Russia. Mikhail Yefimov, in the spring, in March made it. On a hippodrome then there was such delight, the audience, exulting and clapping, empathized all this action. Some enterprises of Odessa, even purposefully made days off in order that as much as possible people could attend this festival of opening and the first flight. Many people then peered at clear heaven, and all empathized the Russian pilot. Such event moreover in the nice city Odessa mother, a sin to pass!
