A weekend full of Tabletop-RPG / Pen-&-Paper-Wochenende
Most oft the time I play online, but several times a year a group of people from the German speaking online tabletop-rpg community meet and play for a long weekend.
Meist gehe ich ja meinem Rollenspiel-Hobby online nach, aber dieses Wochenende trafen sich wieder einmal Spieler für "Rollenspiel satt" ;)
The best is: this weekend I only played systems that were new to me! These were:
Schön war dass ich dieses Mal nur Systeme gespielt habe die ich vorher noch nicht gekannt oder ausprobiert habe! Und zwar:
| Into the Breach | Interesting setting with not knowing what happened when the breach was closed. We had to deal with the Ferryman who made people disappear from the river on dark moonless nights... | Ein interessantes Setting mit diesem Durchbruch und dem Nichtwissen was in der anderen Welt passiert war als er geschlossen war. Die Gruppe musste sich um den 'Fährmann' kümmern der in mondloseb Nächten Leute vom Fluss verschwinden ließ... |

| Led Arcana | We had the quick starter of the recently finished Kickstart campaign and together worked out how the rules work and I GMed a short test were we dealt with a cult in the Roman province of Dalmatia. Really fascinating, can't wait for the PDFs to come next summer. Interesting ist the fights with mor than one opponent on a side - that can get brutal quite fast. But: it's no problem if you don't succeed with a healing dice throw - you can't further hurt the patient ;) | Ich hatte den Quickstarter der kürzlich beendeten Kickstarter-Kampagne dabei und habe dann mit einigen Leuten die Regeln erarbeitet. Danach habe ich einen kleinen Ausflug in die Provinz Dalmatia geleitet wo Leute verschwanden... Ein faszinierendes System + Setting, ich freue mich auf nächsten Sommer wenn das Regelwerk erscheint. Zwei interessante Dinge: die Regeln für den Kampf gegen mehrere Gegner lassen das zu einer gefährlichen Angelegenheit werden. Dafür kann man bei einem Heilungsversuch nicht patzen und dem Verletzten nicht noch mehr Schaden zufügen! |
| Blue Rose | We used pre-generated Characters and I've never met such an atypical Orc like Hugo Shelley! The rules were easy to understand and the fights were fast. Certainly wasn't the last time I played that! | Wir haben vorgefertigte Charts genutzt und solch einen Ork wie Hugo Shelley ist mir nie zuvor begegnet! System + Setting werde ich sicherlich noch einmal spielen. |
| Star Wars | I was only a spectator but I love how you can use the colored dices to tell a story - when GM + players work together it's truly beautiful. | Ich war nur Zuschauerin aber ich mag das Spiel mit den bunten Würfeln sehr. Wenn alle zusammenarbeiten entsteht gemeinsam eine schöne Geschichte. |
| Hobbit Tales | Just a short introduction of the storytelling card game for a player who hadn't heard of it before. I like the game, it's fast and hilarious and a perfect entry game into roleplaying. | Nur eine kurze Einführung in das Erzählkartenspiel für jemanden die das nicht nicht kannte. Ich mag das Spiel sehr, es ist schnell und lustig - und die perfekte Einstiegsdroge um Leute ans Rollenspiel zu bekommen! |
Tomorrow is Sunday and we go home again- and I have to catch up on my sleep in the next days!
Morgen ist Sonntag und es geht wider heim und ich muss dann einigen Schlaf nachholen :)
