Divination

How glorious and rich this tapestry we weave

where symbols live and and dreams breathe

I honour the wisdom passed down through the ages

I honour your guides and mine

Tarot cards have always played a part in my life.

My mother would cart me off every Sunday, with our little octagonal table, to the markets one town over. Under the ancient pine trees in the midst of an old time historical village, I began to understand the symbolic nature of life. The archetypes we glean from, and the way each and every one of us seeks out that which we are required to hear to move forward with equilibrium.

Firstly, trust your own intuition. Listen to your own advice. Trust in your hearts process and your brains ability.

That is paramount. For if you won’t listen to yourself, then you are unlikely to listen to anyone else either.

Tarot is an interesting form of divination, supposedly originating in Europe around the 15th century. I love it probably because I have been conditioned to, exposed to tarot from an early age and taught to interpret and intuit the symbols within each card from around 8 years old, I’m not likely to escape its mystical grasp. It is closely tied to the Kabbalah, and helps to map a path through the tree of life and the innate situations therein. I liken it to allowing your subconscious and conscious self to come forth and guide you with symbolic imagery. It is often astounding the clarity in which it mirrors the events in your life.

I use Tarot as a reflection of the now. Of who you are and how you are interacting with the situations at hand. If you wish to open up the knowing of your future, I suggest you find a different reader and tread carefully. There is no greater danger than listening to a stranger about what you can should or will be doing with your life. I offer a deeper glance at your NOW. Of who you are, what you are facing and the facets of self that are helping you, the facets of self that are hindering. I do not forecast the future. Be wary of those who claim to, as this alters your free will. Of course there are often glimpses of the paths laid out before you, but nothing is ever set in stone.

I also do stone casting, speaking of which.

using rocks, gems, stones, sticks and bones.

Which is also very interesting and I consider myself to be one of few working from my own collected symbols. Self created, or found and affirmed symbols can be very powerful. Even more so are symbols that not only are representative of an aspect of the greater human psyche, but also a form of your journey, adding layers to the already well established meaning.

For example a bronze cast baby bailer shell. Not only does the shell represent the feminine, and protection, slow and steady growth, comforts, venus and more, the place in which I found it, and what it says to me about you in that very moment, is sometimes a little too accurate! Just the other day one the stones (a gem-like, naturally polished by the ocean coral fragment) told me a lady was moving, even though it had never mentioned moving in any previous readings (yes, ha, they are alive in my mind), and indeed she was, from Cairns to Tasmania! This is a blessed bag of tricks I delight in offering to you. From my journey to yours.

If you have ever wanted a reading, or would love to delve into allegorical abstractions of your life’s journey, if you are needing clarity, encouragement from your higher self and your ever present guides, or just a general “now”-cast to invigorate your zest for life, email me, let's talk.
I am very flexible, negotiable and enjoy giving long distance readings also.

Thanks and love,

Jilli
