Legendary shop that is almost 1 century old -
Hello everyone, if you are interested to come here, do not hope to find a varied menu. Why? Kedai Kok Tong has only two menus to enjoy, namely black coffee and milk coffee. Both continue to vary and customers can choose from a hot or cold menu.
The 93-year-old tavern was founded by a Chinese-blooded man named Lim Tee Kee. Currently, the store is managed by a third generation named Paimin Halim or more intimately called Aktiong. In Chinese, Kong Tok means East people.
The coffee menu is delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. Even if it has been stirring, friend Traveler will not be able to find coffee and milk. No need to hesitate, to enjoy this nostalgic cup, visitors are only charged Rp8.000 And for Black coffee Rp12.000 For his cup of milk coffee.
The taste of this shop is continued to be maintained by the owner. One of the things retained is by using simple appliances. The tool is still in use today. No sophisticated coffee machine, the owner uses the way and tools are still manual. Therefore, the coffee feels more viscous, has no pulp, a concentrated aroma, and also fragrant. Since a few years they have always felt the same taste, portion, and presentation.
