Bali Food Guide - #19 Secret Spot, Berawa
We´ve passed this little cafe in Berawa so many times but never went in. Maybe that´s why it is called Secret Spot?
Anyway, two days ago we thought it´s time to try out this cafe as the reviews are all great. I have really have to admit that I regret we did not tried it earlier.
Wir haben dieses kleine Café in Berawa so oft passiert, sind aber nie reingegangen. Vielleicht heißt es deshalb Secret Spot?
Wie auch immer, vor zwei Tagen dachten wir es ist Zeit dieses Café auszuprobieren, da die Bewertungen alle großartig sind. Ich muss wirklich zugeben, dass ich es bereue dass wir es nicht früher versucht haben.
They have seating inside and outside. The inside of the cafe has a living room style atmosphere and already looks quite comfortable. It´s pretty small but you can also sit upstairs where it is a bit more roomy.
Sie haben Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen. Das Innere des Cafés hat eine wohnzimmerähnliche Atmosphäre und sieht schon recht gemütlich aus. Es ist ziemlich klein, aber man kann auch oben sitzen, wo es etwas geräumiger ist.
Apart from awesome food including cake, they also sell their own coffee beans as well as some local health products like creams and supplement powders.
Abgesehen von fantastischem Essen, einschließlich Kuchen, verkaufen sie auch ihre eigenen Kaffeebohnen sowie einige lokale Gesundheitsprodukte wie Cremes und Nahrungsergänzungspulver.
Since we haven´t been here before and had no idea what is good, we ordered 3 different dishes and shared them. It turned out that it was a little too much. But see yourself in the photos.
We ordered...
- a Pumpkin Soup with Coconut Yoghurt and Pumpkin Seeds which was so creamy and yummy
- a Sunrise Toast with avocado, chickpea spread, vegan feta and tomato which was pretty good as well, especially the feta
and last but not least a beast of a waffle.
- the Berry Bliss Secret Waffle with berries, banana, coconut whip and dragon-berry sauce I never had something like that before. We both ate as much as we could but could not finish it. You really should try one of these waffles at least once in your life! :)
Da wir noch nie hier waren und keine Ahnung hatten, was gut ist, bestellten wir 3 verschiedene Gerichte und teilten sie. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es etwas zu viel war. Aber seht selbst auf den Fotos.
Wir haben bestellt...
- eine Kürbissuppe mit Kokos-Joghurt und Kürbiskernen, die so cremig und lecker war
- Ein Sunrise Toast mit Avocado, Kichererbsenaufstrich, veganem Feta und Tomate, der auch ziemlich gut war, besonders der Feta
und zu guter letzt ein Biest von einer Waffel.
- die Berry Bliss Secret Waffel mit Beeren, Banane, Kokosnusscreme und Drachen-Beeren-Sauce So etwas hatte ich noch nie. Wir aßen beide so viel wir konnten, konnten es aber nicht bezwingen. Man sollte eine dieser Waffeln wirklich mindestens einmal in seinem Leben probieren! :)
