Tasteem Review, Satay & BBQ Wings
In Donggongon Town, there is only one stall that sells Satay which is called "Satay Bayu" located in between Dragon Restaurant and Ching Fah Restaurant. This stall has been in business for nearly 10 years, and is quite popular with the folks in this town. The owner opens up his stall around 4.00pm daily, but the time he closes his stall differs based on his satay stocks. Normally, he will close business around 8.00pm.
The best thing about Satay Bayu's Satay is its freshness. His satay stocks always finish on the same day, so the next day's stocks are always freshly made, which makes it tasted so good. There are three types of satay that you can choose, either Chicken, Beef or Mutton.
Next to Satay Bayu is another stall that sells BBQ Chicken Wings, Chicken Gizzard Satay, and Chicken Liver Satay. Both stall owners are friends, but this stall doesn't have any specific names.
Here are the pictures of the Beef and Chicken satays that I bought. The satay as usual tasted really delicious and fresh. The meat is still tender and chewy. Eat those satays after dipping it into the Peanuts Sauce and your mouth will be filled with unimaginable good taste.
I bought a few BBQ Chicken Wings too and it is so tasty as well. But unlike the satay, there is another type of dipping sauce for it. It's main ingredients are Birds Eye Chili Paste and Light Soy Sauce. This sauce gives an extra dimension to the taste of the BBQ Wings. More spiciness, if you know what I mean.
For you guys who drops by Donggonggon Town in the near future, you might want to drop by and taste these two delicacies. I can assure that you will surely come back for more next time.
