Johnny's Bisztro Buda test
Not long ago, I visited Johnny's Bistro in Diosd, and I wrote an article praising the restaurant. I totally loved it, and have longed to return to the restaurant since then.
But, there are is one more restaurant located on the Buda side of Budapest, and I really wanted to give it a try. So, a few days ago I visited the restaurant to see if it has the same quality as the Johnny's Bistro restaurant in Diosd.
The look of the restaurant in Buda is quite different. The restaurant in Diosd is fairly small, with little space to move. However, the restaurant on the Buda side is much bigger, it has a bigger terrace with space where you can eat, and also the inner territory of the restaurant is wider and much more space for movement. Not only this, but it also has a small kids corner which will come useful if you want to dine with your kids, and they have a big TV on which you might be able to watch your favorite sports event.
The menu, however, is the same... meaning that you will get the same food served at both places, and the same prices. Based on our tests, the food tastes mostly the same, so it is not like the food is prepared better in one of the restaurant!
In other words, this is a fantastic place as well if you want American hamburgers, Mexican tacos, or maybe a tasty dessert while on the Buda side of Budapest.
The price level is fairly good. A hamburger will cost you between 4-8 Euro, the desserts cost between 3-5 Euro, and besides this, the different main courses cost between 7-12 Euro.
A great place, I can warmly recommend it!
