A Magic Burger in Budapest
On Friday I got the chance to visit a placed called Magic Burger in Budapest. And let me tell you, their hamburgers are capable of performing magic in your mouth.
I am a big fan of hamburgers, and it is so easy to just go and eat a hamburger, instead of picking food from complicated menus and waiting for a long time for the food to be served. I have visited lots of hamburger restaurants in the last months, and Magic Burger is the most recent on the list.
I have been to Magic Burger several times before (but never written about it here on Tasteem), so now is the time. The menu has changed a lot since I first as there, and it has taken a direction making it even more vegan friendly. Well, that isn't interesting for me, because I want the meat to be as big as possible, and I really laugh at a slogan I read in a restaurant a few years ago: "Vegetarians are people who only eat starters." No racism, no bad feeligns to anyone - but, I feel like I would miss out on all the fun if I had to skip the meat.
Luckily, they have some brilliant meat in the burgers in Magic burger, and the combination with some tasty dressings, fantastic fries (or sweet potato fries), nice drinks, and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, makes Magic Burger a great place to visit.
Let me also say that Magic Burger isn't very cheap. A burger will easily cost you 2000 HUF, and if you want a meat that isn't only 100gram, but 200gram, then it will cost you even more. If you want a side-dish, it will cost you at least 500 HUF, but probably more.
ALl in all, if you order a burger with a side-dish and a drink, you will most likely pay somewhere between 10-13 Euro. But, you will get a delightful meal for the price, so it is still worth it.
Magic Burger is located in the XI district of Budapest, near the Ujbuda Center (with a large Tesco store). It can be complicated to get here as a tourist using public transportation, but a taxi will do the job straight away!
I can warmly recommend this place to anyone hungry for a tasty burger in Budapest!
