Student Area's Best Kebab
Do you know the secret about restaurants near a university? They provide good food and good for the pockets too. Recently we tried some kebab at a restaurant in a student area and really enjoyed our visit.

Easy Cosy Layout
The tables were laid out in grids and they had extra places to eat upstairs also. There weren't many decoration so forgot to grab some pics of the restaurant, and focussed on the food instead!
Entree "Çiğ köfte"
First thing we tried was this meatball shaped by a closed hand. It is a mixture of mince meat, spices and herbs. It is served cold and usually eaten as a snack in Turkey.
Kebab
We ordered a fresh kebab each, two chicken because they were our favourite, and one mutton. We also had Ayran: a popular yoghurt drink.

Something different
As you can see in the photo, the drink is very different to what we have in the western world. It's foamy, white and has a bit of salt added! Ayran, also known as doogh is very delicious (for some). We like it a lot after travelling in the Middle East for 5 months now. It is made from yoghurt, water (or soda water) and a little salt.
