Canele
Just found out Sophie Authentique has a branch in Kuningan City. The place is much bigger than the one in Kemang, but the atmosphere is homey with French music and the chairlift that has become the signature. The seating is varied, ad sofa too, the usual ad table. Order here directly to the cashier and pay first, after that just wait to be delivered to the food. Here I order:
-Mini Canele: get 4pcs for 35 thousand. As usual, canelenya is really good, the texture is a bit like a sweet and fragrant burnt caramel cake. Eating this canele dipped in coffee is also getting better!
-Piccolo: Sophie has her own blend. I got coffee that is Sumatra Blend and for the taste I like it because it's strong but the aftertaste is rather sweet and not acidic. I also tried while using canele and then sipping this coffee, it feels like rich up! So the more sweet and the sensation of burnt caramel, it's really super passive pairing!
-Cappucinno: the beans are the same using Sumatra Blend, the latte art is also cute. Said my friend who is a coffee drinker, this is one of the best cappucinno he drinks. There is a bitter hint when it is drunk and frothy milk cappuccino also makes the hint of the banana getting out and feeling sweet on the base of the tongue. If I'm right when I try, I can't compare the taste, the important thing is not good, okay for me hahaha😂😅
-Croque Monsieur Pork: Even though it has the texture, the top is crispy because the cheese is baked. The cheese in the middle also melted as soon as it was eaten (unfortunately it doesn't take photos), the pork meat was just right, a little salty, but a little too late. The salad was good too, the seger and the dressing was quite light.
Overall very satisfied eating at Sophie's! The coffee is delicious, canelenya especially. The service is also friendly, and the more comfortable it is because in each table, the plugs will come back, of course.
