The cutest coconut ice cream in the world
Coconut ice cream is my favorite dessert for hot days in Thailand. For sure it’s one of the reasons that I fall in love with Thailand. Today in Chiang Mai the temperature is around 38° Celsius. So, yes, it’s the perfect day for a refreshing Thai coconut ice cream!
Coconut ice cream is quite popular in Thailand. You can find many locals selling it on the streets. If you listen to a kind of bicycle bell and look to a small stroller around, just stop it and ask for yours! The Thai coconut ice cream is super creamy and refreshing. It’s also a bit different from other coconut ice creams around the world since it’s made by pure rich coconut cream. For this reason, you will feel the ice cream melt in your mouth without any kind of ice pieces. It’s really amazing!
Despite you can find coconut ice cream everywhere in Thailand, especially in Chiang Mai, I decided to try a new place, which I was curious about for a long time. The reason? It’s not uncommon to meet people in front of this place making selfies with a cute bunny ice cream! So, yes, it was time to taste it!
Coco corner
Coco Corner is a very cute little spot that serves all kind of desserts with coconut. Coconut pudding, ice cream, shakes, smoothies and more. The prices are really affordable and the bunny coconut ice cream is a must try for sure!
You have places to seat and enjoy your dessert on your own or share it with friends. Water is for free and the air conditioning makes the place a perfect stop for a hot day! The staff is also friendly and will receive you with a great smile!
The cutest coconut ice cream in the world!
In the streets, you will pay around 30 baths (US$ 0,94) for a delicious coconut ice cream. But the bunny ice cream costs 69 baths (US$ 2,17) and it worth it!
It's super creamy and soft. The ears of the bunny are made by a crunchy sweet cracker and the eyes are made of a kind of sweet peanut. I won’t lie to you, it’s so cute, that giving the first bite and destroying such a cute bunny almost broke my heart!
When in Thailand and especially in Chiang Mai, I truly recommend you to have a local coconut ice cream from this strolls on the street. More than supporting the local economy, you’ll probably try the best coconut ice cream in your life. And also, don’t miss the opportunity to have this cute coconut ice cream, which is pretty unique and for sure you can have nice pics and selfies with it!
