Cheesecake, Pancake and Coffee at G & C Cafe - Baguio City
This was near to what we had breakfast and I was craving for cake so we headed here. This is located at Hotel Cosmopolitan Baguio City.
The cafe is right beside the hotel's lobby. Only a few chairs and tables are there. Save one person, we were the only customers. The cafe serves all day breakfast, pasta and some Filipino dishes. I was here for their cakes. However, they only have cheesecake and flourless cake ala mode available. We settled for cheesecake and pancake.
Every table had this cactus and wine on it. I thought it was water only. Used wine bottles are where service water is served in most cafes so I assumed it was the same here only to realize it was not when we were served water while waiting for our order. It's too early for wine anyway.
We were informed beforehand that they ran out of topping for their cheesecake. We still went with it. It tasted okay. There's nothing special to it. The cake is compact and not that sweet. Even the crust is nicely done. It does not crumble as easily. It would be interesting how it would taste if it does have topping.
The pancake comes with a banana. We were served two pancakes per order. It was okay, just the right taste. It has that egginess to it. It is a bit moist and compact.
All in all, it was okay experience. It would be something to go back and try their other cakes if it is available and also try their other meals. The service is good, menu is sufficient, quality and quantity of food is okay. Even though the cheesecake is okay as it is, they should have something else to susbtitute for topping if they ran out of the usual. Their coffee is strong the way I like it. They accept cash and card.

Wala eh. Rice person ang lola. Di mabubuhay sa cheesecake lang. 😂😁
Haha nasanay kasi ako sa kape lang at tinapay. Brewed ha di 3 in 1. Sa 3 in 1 ako manginginig sa gutom.
Need iwas sa rice pero binge eater kasi ako kaya wala na din haha

Ah ganun ba?! Yun naman ang hindi ko nakasanayan, yung tinapay lang. Snack ang tinapay sa amin. Hehehe! 😁 Sosyal! Brewed dapat!!! Ibang level sir ah. Hehehe! 😁
Naku! Mahirap ang binge eater. Mas napaparami po yung kain. Hehe. 😊 Mas maganda yung maraming beses kumain pero pakonti konti lang. Mas maganda raw po yun sa health natin. Makakatulong sa mabilis na metabolism. 😊
Ako kasi anytime may bread haha. Oo mas maganda brewed pang support local growers natin. Alam mo naman mga corpo greeds hehe kawawa ng local farmers sa kanila.
Tama yan pero aince nagwork kasi ako di na maxado strict sa diet hehe

Wheat bread po ba? Kasi ang white bread sabi nila mas masahol pa sa rice. Hehehe.
Oo nga naman. Tangkilikin ang sariling atin. Hahaha! 😁 At saka masarap naman talaga ang brewed kesa sa 3n1. Minsan nga nag-aacid ako don eh.
Wheat bread pero kadalasan white at kung ano magustuhan sa bakery hehe

I think it's more of marketing? So customers will know they have wine there. Just my assumption 😁
