Geurugok Village, Gandapura District, Bireuen District, Aceh. It is located right in the market of the capital of the district.
There, a number of officials from various regions gathered. Just stopping for a moment, enjoying the famous Apaleh Satay. This beef and mutton satay is known throughout Aceh. No less popular with the famous Sate Matang.

For visitors going to Medan or Banda Aceh using cross-Sumatra, it doesn't feel like it, if you don't stop enjoying the satay.

"For a day we can sell 85 kilograms of meat," said Muhammad, one of the workers in Apaleh Satay to KompasTravel, Wednesday (01/20/2016).

This stall is open 24 hours. So, don't worry about not getting in. The owner of this satay stall is Saleh. He opened the satay shop since decades ago.

Initially it was just to the right of the road if from Medan to Banda Aceh. Now, on the left side of the road has also been opened.
