Best Pizza In Siargao Island
I wrote a review about this place (not on Tasteem) , and promised a part 2, with an interesting story twist, so here it is. But before i get to it, Click here to read the part 1 of my Kermit Review.
It was my best friends Birthday @cheft, she could not wait to go back to Kermit.
we dressed up, ready for the Birthday blast.
we sat right where the magic happens, where the pizzas are made, and since we had only a pizza last time, we could not wait to try other dishes, especially the pastas, so we went hard on the menu, did not hold back.
here were our pizza choices.
For our Pastas. we went for these beauties.
since we got this creamy one, we thought it will ve nice to have something more stewy, more tomato-ey (personal invented word)
we also had a good platter of Bruschetta and fish balls.
This went down with a great selection of drinks (trust the foodies).
The food was overall amazing, as expected except for one incident. Being thw foodies that we are, we go through the menu description to understand better the ingredients.
on one of the pizzas, there was one major ingredient that we were excited about and really looking forward too.
Remember i said we were seated right beside the pizza place, so we could see how the pizza was being made and what Excatly was put in we could see the ingredients and we knew what each ingredient was, and everything went in as described in the book except for that major ingredient.
pizza went in the oven and we sat patiently hoping that, that wasn't actually our pizza or wait for the drama that would unfold when we approach them about the missing major ingredient.
well, unfortunate enough the pizza was ours and we had to question them about the missing ingredient.
after a brief argument and going back and forth, they could tell that we were serious and were sure of what we were talking about. since the pizza was already served on our table, they decided to instead give us a discount for the inconvenience. That was okay but our main concern was being honest with customers when ingredients are not available as that would be a rip off.
otherwise aside from this incident, this place is amazing, for their pizza especially, i would give them a great recommendation to anyone visiting the island. infact you will not have had a complete Siargao experience without visiting this place.
