Puloculinary #63: Dinner at Warung Sate dan Gule Kambing 29, Semarang
Semarang has many "Warung Sate", one of which is Sate Kambing 29, located on Letjen Suprapto street No. 29, in front of Blenduk Church in Old City area.
Actually, this shop is suitable for visiting during lunch hours after traveling in the Old City. But, we visited this Satay Shop at evening to have dinner.
Warung Sate 29 is very famous here. It's owned by Iwan, grandson of Yap Pak Yoe, the first owner to open this shop in 1968. The shop building is old, with victorian style.
I came here with my friend to have dinner. I was curious about this famous satay. I want to try this one, because in my home town there is also delicious satay, named "Sate Matang."
These are our satay. They are served in plates with onions and lemon.

After finishing our satay, I would give score 8,5 for the menu of Satay 29, Semarang. And I recomend it as a must visit place if you travel to Semarang - the capital city of Centra Java, Indonesia.
