Puloculinary #114: Nelayan Cafe, Dim Sum & Asian Cuisine
I would pick Nelayan Cafe, Dimsum & Asian Cuisine as the best restaurant of the year. We could find this restaurant in Medan City at Sun Plaza, Centre Point Mall, Manhattan Mall, Medan Fair Mall, and Merdeka Walk.
Me and my family have visited the restaurant several times this year. We visited Nelayan Cafe again yesterday at Centre Point Mall. We had dinner before watching movie Star Wars at Cinema XXI.
You know, Nelayan Cafe serves various kinds of cuisine. They are all must be very delicious and tasty. A lot of customers come and eat in this restaurant everyday. Even, at lunch or dinner hours we must put our name in waiting list to have a seat.
Here, I really love to eat dim sum, durian and avocado pancakes. You will never forget the experience after tasting Durian or Avocado Pancakes. The layer of pancake is very thin. You know that the more thinner the layer of a pancake is the more better.
Durian pancake is with green layer and avocado pancake yellow layer. They are the most mouth-watering pancakes I had ever eaten.
And now let’s look at the dim sum we ordered yesterday.

And this is with shrimp.
We also ordered a portion of hotplate noodle with softened crab. This cuisine is pretty spicy. Be aware you are not tolerant to spicy food.
And for sure, we also ordered two portions of shrimp-salad lumpia, with mayonnaise on them.
Honestly, I highlyrecommend this restaurant to visit if you are in Medan City, North Sumatra, Indonesia. For sure, you would have a great culinary experience.
