Tasteem will be launching. What is tasteem?
Tasteem is a curating platform for the best restaurants you’ve experienced, through our weekly Contests with new themes. We set Contest themes, such as ‘A place to visit on a Wedding Anniversary’, ‘A great night out for a drink’, and Tasteemers enter our Contest by writing their own guide to places that match our themes. Contestants will get votes from other users to be featured in our Contest rankings. The most popular guide will be given a big prize, and all the posts will form a great Tasteem guide to restaurants.

I have been using apps such as "TripAdvisor" and "Yelp" to find new local places to go. I am sure that many of us(including myself) spend time on viewing photos to discover great places.
Why don't we become a restaurant reviewer?
I think "Tasteem" can serve a niche market for people who would like to make a profit with writing reviews and opinions on the restaurants.
Also, everyone who loves food can share and vote places and get a map of their favorite spots. People can follow and connect with each other in similar food tastes and personalities.
TL;DR
Let users can monetize with their reviews and opinions on restaurants.
