Food Sharing #120 - Ocean Terrace @ Westin Resort, Fiji
Hi Everyone,
Every time we go on holidays with the little ones, we prefer to have breakfast sorted out prior so we don’t need to think on the day and concentrate getting everyone out of the hotel. This time, I’m taking you to Ocean Terrace for buffet breakfast. Located inside the Westin Resort, we walked all the way from the Sheraton Resort to check it out.
There is no menu this time as everything is included in our meal. What I like about here compared to the Sheraton everything is very neat and they cook everything fresh. There is only a small amount of food each time so you know whatever on the plate is fresh. There are lots of hot food to choose from like bacon, sausages, eggs, fried rice etc.

I now take you into this special room which has air condition. It houses all the cold food like cereal and milk, fruit, cold cuts, yoghurt etc. Very thoughtful as this will keep the food fresh and won’t go off easily as Fiji was very hot.
Apart from the traditional juice you can get, there is also freshly squeezed juice you can made to order. It was delicious! I love the mix and match options.
Yummy fresh bread counter as well as porridge and miso soups for those who like soupy breakfasts. This buffet does cater for all customers.

There are plenty of seatings in the restaurant and some tables have a nice sea view just like ours. The atmosphere was pleasant with lovely staff. They really take time to understand your needs and chat with you. The only thing that I dislike about Fiji in general is most restaurants don’t have air condition which makes it really hot while trying to eat the hot meals. I guess that is why they offer a nice juice selection for their patrons. Finally cost wise, the Westin Resort is not cheap but if you book this with your room, it is definitely worth every cent.

Wow! This looks so expensive restaurant! Everything is neatly set-upped and organized.
Yah it wasn’t cheap but worth the experience. We did get it part of the holiday package which would be cheaper than paying on the spot
