Food Sharing #81 - Pizzeria Pub Restavracija Ancora @ Maribor, Slovenia
Hi Everyone,
Today I would like to take you to a nice gem we found in Slovenia. We were on our way to glamping but unfortunately the room was not ready therefore we went to find something to eat. We drove into town and searched up some restaurants on Foursquare. Pizzeria Pub Restavracija Ancora came in really popular so we decided to give it a go to see what the fuss was about.
We were really lucky to find parking nearby and walked over to the restaurant within a few minutes. The restaurant was surprisingly very busy and was lead to a quieter part of the restaurant (which later on was not very quiet as more people arrived). Let’s have a look at some parts of the menu.
We ordered a greek salad, risotto, grilled fish, stuffed squid and a kids ham pizza. We didn’t expect the servings were going to be so big so we took some of the salad back to the hotel with us. For drinks, we had the a diet coke, orange juice and an espresso towards the end. To our surprise, all our food tasted really good! Even the salad was nice especially the freshness of the veggies. The garlic sauce that came with the fish and squid was just superb! We just wanted to have more.

The prices of this restaurants was very reasonable considering the size of meal we are receiving. The service was average maybe due to the language barrier. The restaurant has plenty of seating as it was really long therefore can fit a lot of customers. There were plenty of hangers and racks to hang your coats as it was winter. If you prefer sitting outside, there are some tables and stools for you.

Wow .. the food really looks great ! Does seems like a very big place though ... i was just thinking about pizzas today and looks like i'm gonna go grab some now. =D
