Weekly Choice: Man Fook Restaurant
Hello dear food lovers. Last week, I and my family had a cheap yet delicious dinner at one restaurant called Man Fook Restaurant. The restaurant is located at the ground floor building in Donggongon Square, Penampang. My friend told me that this place served varieties of dish at an affordable price.
The restaurant is spacious with tables and chairs arranged nicely for customer to use. There were varieties of dishes available in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photo of the food Menu.
For appetizer, my brother-in-law ordered this Spicy Jelly Fish and Octopus. This dish is served cold and tasted so delicious.
This is Wet Butter Chicken with salted Egg. It tasted and smells like butter but once you bite it, you can taste the delicious combination of that crispy chicken and salted egg yolk.
Next, we have Fried Soft Shell Crab. This is my favorite. The Crab shell is so crispy and soft that you can eat it as it is. It was dip in batter and then deep-fried to create the oh so delicious taste.
Another dish we had is this Talapia with Nyonya sauce. Its steamed Talapia fish showered with that delicious Nyonya sauce. It taste spicy, sour and very flavourful.
We also ordered this delicious Fish Maw Seafood soup. It tasted even better when you add some chili in it.
For drinks, I ordered warm Chinese Tea and Iced Milk Tea for my daughter.
Overall, our meal costed RM120.00 (USD28.76). There were 6 of us eating and this consider really cheap compare to other restaurants in Donggongon. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. I highly recommended this place if you are looking for fabulous delicious food at affordable price.
