大自然の中で芸術品のような美しい食事を堪能できる隠れ家的なお店/A lovely restaurant with artistic cuisines by a lake and forest in Germany

森と湖が豊かなウォーレンの町は街なかから車で10分も走ると森と湖しかないような景色に変わります。その中でも、湖岸にはポツンポツンとホテルがあって、レストランではランチなどの食事を楽しむことができます。こちらがお気に入りのレストランがあるホテルのエントランスです。

Only 10 min. by car from central part of this small town, then we can't find any other thing except greens and a big lake. Sometimes we can find hotels in front of the lake. We can enjoy late lunch at some restaurants in these hotels and this is one of our favorite place where the dishes are excellent.

Hotel Paulshöhe & Restaurant KG

お庭にはさまざまな動物のモニュメントが置かれていて、よく手入れされているけど自然溢れる素敵な空間です。

Beautiful garden with cute animal decorations is maintained very well. Great atmosphere it is.

冬は室内でいただくのですが、春〜秋にかけてはどのお客さんも庭が臨める開放的なテラス席でいただくようで、私たちもそれに習います。

Most of visitors prefer to sit outside rather than inside except winter time so we do same thing.

スタッフの皆さんはあまり英語は得意ではないようですが、明るくて活発な女性スタッフが多く、身振り手振りでそれは親切に対応してくださってとても気持ちいいサービスです。

It seems people at this hotel don't speak English so much, but they do great communication with high quality service mind for their customers. I love their friendly but professional vibes.

まずは魚介とグリーンマンゴーのサラダを戴きます。メチャメチャ酸っぱいフサスグリという赤い実ですが、ドイツではお料理によく使われています。完熟すると甘くて美味しいんですけど、そのまま食べるとほっぺたが痛くなる酸っぱさです。全ての素材とバルサミコのコンビネーションがよくお箸(フォーク）が進みます。撮影したのが魚眼レンズのカメラなのでちょっとゴチャッとしているように見えますが、盛り付けも美しいです。

Seafood salad with green mango.
The red one is super sour and easy to find in Germany in summer time. The combination with every ingredients and balsamico was just perfect.

そしてこちらは帆立貝の前菜サラダ。先のサラダと同じソースですが、こちらはビーツと海藻のサラダと一緒に戴きます。ここを訪れるのは代替遅めのランチ兼ディナーという感じなので、食べたいものを幾つか注文して軽く食べることが多いですが、それも許される大自然の中ならではの？大らかなサービスが素敵です。

And this is a grilled scallops appetizer salad. It is the same source as the previous salad, but they serve it with beet and seaweed. It was a late lunch, so we ordered a couple of things we wanted to eat and eat lightly. I hope it wasn't too rude for them but It seemed it was ok... everything might be accepted with such a great nature.

こちらはメインのお料理。よく見ると可愛い魚のお皿に入っています

This fish dish was sooo cute :D

ハーブのリゾットと白身魚、グレープフルーツとフェンネル、そしてセロリが添えられています。ソースもグレープフルーツが入った爽やかなソースで意外とアッサリしています。

Herbal risotto and white fish with fennel, celery and grapefruit. The source looks a bit heavy but not at all, it was refreshing sauce containing grapefruit.

デザートは特に「テイスティーム映え」していること間違いなしです。

こちらはアップルパイです。結構大きいのでこの時はシェアして戴きました。

This is handmade apple pie with icecream, it was quite big so we shared it.

そしてこのホテルの裏庭には階段があって…。

And there's stairs at a backyard of this hotel...

そこから線路へ出ることができるのもまた楽しいです。多分今は使われていないと思うのですが…スミマセン、言葉が解らず確認できないままでいます。

We can walk on the old railroad which is also fun... But I'm not so sure this is still used for some ways or not...

実はエントランスホールにカッコいいバーがあって、写真を撮ったはずなんですが見つからず…。また行くことがあれば撮ってきたいと思います。

Actually there's a cool classic bar at the entrance of this hotel, but unfortunately I couldn't find photos of the bar table, so maybe next time...

紹介したお庭には小さいハウスがポツンポツンと建っていて、そちらで短期、中長期のアパート住まいのように借りることもできるようです。私たちもここに滞在すれば毎日でも美味しいお食事が戴けるのですが、歩ける距離にある別のホテルの方がスパが充実しているので、普段はそちらで過ごしながら、たまにここで贅沢ランチを戴くというのが最近のパターンになっています（その代わり夜はとっても質素な食事で済ませます）。

There's small apartment only with kitchen in this garden to simple and long stay for people who explore this area. We can also stay this place, but the next hotel(10 min. by walk) has great spa so we just choose to stay another hotel and come this place to enjoy tasty late lunch and go back the hotel...(but we have super simple supper instead^^;) This is our habit while we stay this area.

今回は初めて「実は誰にも知られたくない特別なお店」として、この場所を紹介させて戴きました^^*
