We don’t have a laser beam
But we can work as a team
We don’t have a laser eye
But we are sensitive to your cry
We can’t make ourselves invisible
But we can make your dreams achievable
We don’t need a disguise to do our task
We are ready to help even if you won’t ask
We may not have superpowers
But we make each one of you matters
We are not superheroes
We are TEACHERS
We may not be equipped with supernatural abilities
Like breath taking stunts, cool gadgets and fancy utilities
We only have formulas, equations, drills, assessments and theories
And a deep faith in God which gives us no worries

We are Teachers and we are happy to be one
For we desire to make learning meaningful and fun
And aside from the concepts that we hope you all to remember
We pray St. Candida’s values in all of you will forever linger
For there is no greater happiness in the heart of a teacher
Than seeing his/her pupils and students to stand on their own and be better

If there are times when we are sad, sick and down
Please don’t give us a frown
We may not have a supernatural power
But a simple greeting of Hi and Hello will matter
Because despite a heavy and challenging day
Remembering the time we all enjoy class can make the sadness go away
