Characteristics of the profession of teacher
Because of its similarity with the profession of the parents, which is to educate, the role of the teacher participates, in my opinion, of the same characteristics.
The teacher's profession is BEAUTIFUL
Indeed, the teacher is in contact with these wonderful beings, our children, who laugh, play, and learn; those beings are tender in their feelings, affectionate in their manifestations, unpredictable in their occurrences; and that they are also naughty and restless.
In short, the teacher lives with those children who give their love (which is all they have) and also expect a lot, but a lot, from their teacher.
The teacher, even if he is older, because he is among children and adolescents, because he constantly observes his way of being, for participating in a certain way, of the dreams and illusions of his young and young students, feels young.
Teacher's profession is SATISFACTORY
The role of the teacher is satisfactory because it makes him experience, to the teacher, the joy of seeing that his children learn, that they grow, in short, that they are formed as well-being men and women of the future. Teachers are also very happy to feel the gratitude of their students, because they receive recognition for their efforts.
The true teacher receives, above all, and at every moment, the internal gratification of his conscience for the duty fulfilled in a work that is the most sublime; molding the children, shaping the men of the future.
True satisfaction, in any job, is creation, and it is precisely creation that is performed by the teacher, creation carried to the highest level, because the teacher works in and with human beings.
Teacher's profession is SACRIFICED
If all work, if every profession involves difficulties, effort and sacrifice, for the one who exercises it, the profession of the teacher represents, without doubt, the best example of that delivery is not easy to give at the time of carrying out the work responsibility. Let's see only 3 reasons, of the many that could be mentioned, of why we affirm that the function of the teacher is sacrificed.
1.- The profession of the teacher is sacrificed because the teacher has to forget his personal and home problems, to get to the classroom and smile to his students who wait enthusiastically to receive from his teacher his affection and his teachings.
2.- The teacher's life is sacrificed, because he necessarily has to bear the emotional problems of many of his children, abandoned physically and spiritually by their parents. Problems that, to affect him intimately, prevent his well-deserved rest, when he arrives at his house to share with his family.
3.- The role of the teacher is sacrificed, because on many occasions he does not have the material means, because of the low salary he perceives in a particular way in a country of mine (Venezuela), to meet and cover all the needs that he and his family need to live with tranquility and, however, must manage that and move forward in edifying formative work.

I can tell you really enjoy your job! I used to be a teacher...but I did not enjoy it in the same way you do. However, I agree that teaching will keep you young!
If I really enjoy my profession, I try to use it as an escape valve for problems, I see in children the appropriate context to brighten up my days. Regards!!
