Eungella National Park

A few years back I had a holiday with the missus up at Airlie Beach and Mackay. It was right around the time of Cyclones Yassi and Debbie.

On one of the days we took a run up to the Eungella National Park. This is a brillient peice of pristine rainforest that has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years. Its also one of the places in Australia that your almost guaranteed to see a Platypus.

Anyway, this was one of my favourite shots from the weekend and a canvas version of it still hangs on the wall of my house.
