NAIDOC March
This week is NAIDOC Week which stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Observance Committee which started as a day of mourning.
This years theme is Because of her, we can which celebrates the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels.
NAIDOC week is generally held in the first week of July each year from the first Sunday to the second Sunday of July.
It was a great experience to walk amongst my peers and advocate for change.
And the weather was great also!
