EASTCOAST AUSTRALIAN TUBE WORM

Tube worms are a really unusual sea creature, they are soft and as a protection they incase themselves in calcium and shells so predators cant get to them. If they live in the intertidal zone they have a door on the tube to stop drying out when the tide recedes so it holds in the moisture.
