Soon, many SPM and STPM graduates will continue their studies at higher education centers. Perhaps many can not wait to pursue this turret tower. Listed a new chapter in life with a learning environment that is much different from school age.

Learn English

English requires training to be mastered well. For those who are attending language courses, it is much easier because it is done systematically. However for those who do not have the opportunity to attend language courses you can familiarize yourself with reading and watching programs in English.

Find out what you are interested in so you will be more interested in getting to know it more deeply. Read, hear and repeat parts of the words you feel are capable of. Do not be too scared if you make a mistake. Everyone who learns will make mistakes and from this mistake you can identify your weaknesses in mastering English.

Reading can keep the brain active. Aside from adding knowledge or helping you to know more about the areas you are interested in, it also ensures that the brain continues to be competent to accept new lessons when you step into IPT later.

What is interesting now is that you read any reading material. But it is better if you choose reading material that can add your skills in the field you want to play. You are also encouraged to choose reading materials in English as you have done two things at a time.

Typing Training

If you have a home or laptop at home, you can spend some time practicing self-typing using the right software. This is because when you step into IPT later you may need to complete the assignment within a short period of time. This time is the best time to trick yourself into typing and using the right software.

While typing make sure you use both hands using all your fingers. Avoid hands crossed - this means that each finger will only press certain buttons and your typing speed will increase. You can also find the right typing method from the internet or search for typing learning materials from related books.

Be sure to also use the correct method using the software you are using. Make sure the method is to put the picture, table, diagram correctly. There is also software that lets you put other materials such as audio and video. You can even equip your files like a complete book with sections like front page, content, pre-word, page, footnote and reference section. You can even create links between the contents of your files.

The appropriate software for typing works is like Microsoft Office Word, Apple Pages, Applix Word (Linux), Documents To Go, iStudio Publisher (Mac), Kingsoft Writer, Lotus Word Pro, WordPerfect, WordPad, Polaris Office and so forth . You do not need to learn to use all of these software, but choose between them that you think fit.
