Folk Stories : "Bunian"

Bunian has a human characteristics but different in sizes. If I google the meaning in English, it's a elves or goblin...
So, I never see exactly the bunian looks in real life so... Seem it is like elves or goblin maybe... 😅

If you read my post yesterday, I had begin the folklore stories where my late grandfather told us...

This story begin in a village name Koromuok which is located deep in Sabah. The place is placed in a valley been surrounded with hills and big tree's.

It is said, a villager went into the deep jungle after listening to his friends that there was a treasure and a beautiful princess bunian. Because greedy, the villagers which is a man went to find the treasure and he found it.

But if he want the treasures, he must marrying the bunian princess. Because the princess were beautiful, he married the bunian princess in a same time think he also get the treasure.

At the night, when they want to do the intimate, he was shocked because he saw the princess ****** had teeth. He didn't want to continue the relationship so he try to run with the treasure. Unlucky for him, the princess curse him and the place. The weather had suddenly changed, there were a heavy rain and the sand and mud fill up the valley buried the place and the treasures.

Until now, the old folks say that the treasure still there but the place already been overgrowth with yellow bamboo. There a stories someone try to dig the place looking for the treasures but after dig the heavy rain start and mud and soil buried back the hole...

Since today, the place still there and the treasures also still been buried deep in the earth...
