Growing TeamMalaysia | What Digital Publications Think of it

Sup Steemians

After months and months of getting to understand what This Steem Blockchain is All about and diving all in to grow communities around it. I managed to understand and grasp the idea of implementation for digital media once SMT ( smt.steem.io ) gets rolled out and how it can grow into a really power resource for Digital Publications.

At this point of time Smart Media Tokens are just a concept however its not rolled out yet ! Nothing to show for as well ! SO what do you talk about ?

The Concept !

So the entire #teammalaysia community is our Proof of Concept ! Can you imagine if TeamMalaysia was a digital publication World Of Watches. And this "community" is solely based on interest of luxury watches.

• The Founders ( we also know as editors for the main news ) will write articles and get everyone to feedback.

• The Stewards / Oracles ( also known as moderators ) keeps the peace in "platform" where members / public is able to comment or even contribute articles to The World Of Watches . It now becomes a voice of everyone and everyone is able to interact and contribute

• The Rewards ( we know it as Steem/SBD ) , with SMT in play contributors can be rewarded with tokens and all members are able to participate in upvoting the great comments and downvoting those none relevant posts.

Of course there would be a lot of other challenges which will come out from the rise of Smart Media Token however there would be those Digital Publications which would take the full advantage of it and selling Ads Space would be an even MORE premium thing as its not "necessity" for sustainability.

So I so far spoke with a team that publishes 3 of the magazines in the top image and wanted to see their reaction at the proposal of getting their publication to incorporate STEEM's SMT without making any promises except a better mechanism to retain loyal readers / contributors.

They were excited and would LOVE to get this off the ground. So when is @ned going to get SMT launched ? NO idea ..... hopefully sooner then later.
