My town was flooded last week and we still in the mood of getting over the post flood trauma.


My best buddy A and D call me up and says that we should go for a short getaway. Of course, I say yes and off I go with them to Genting Highlands for 3 days 2 nights stay.

Thank God I went with them. At least I can run away for few days to rejuvenates myself before going back to work and got stressed out the whole week. lol.

We arrived at Genting around 5 pm.
This is the first time for us to travel using public transport. We stayed at First World Hotel. Very nice hotel with original aircond. Its very cold up here. brrrrrr...


For the first night, we only (I REPEAT) only visited the Sky Casino to do some investment. lol.

The next day, we visited the Genting Strawberry Farm and Lavender Farm.
We pick strawberries to bring back to the hotel and take a lot of pictures.

Apart from strawberry and lavender, the garden actually filled with flowers like English Roses, Gerbera, Bunga Taik Ayam, Canna etc.

It is indeed a fruitful getaway. After the the visit to the farm, we took a Grab Car to Genting Premium Outlet for shopping spree. Not that I do all the shopping though as I wanted to go back to the hotel asap and go back to casino for another investment .

Now I am on the way back to Kota Kinabalu feeling refreshed and the same time regretfully back to reality. It's going to be a very busy day starting tomorrow.
@verasj and me will be all over town to get supplies for the flood victim.
