10 Famous Quotes from The 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia
Yesterday, I was suggested by @buzz.lightyear to separate my post into two parts to talk about the election as well as the famous quotes from the new Prime Minister. So here we go.
I would like to give my respect to Tun Dr. Mahathir. I love his spirit of fighting to the end regardless of age. This gives us, especially the youth a lot of courage to fight for our dream. He has his own dream and vision which he fights relentlessly and finally won. The journey is an inspirational one and it let me think about how I can learn from his path. Despite some allegation on his wrongdoings during his era is the 4th Prime Minister, I would like to focus on his discipline and clarity of mind in doing things. His capability to speak without any reference to notes and with such confidence is also something to admire about. Nonetheless, I will not blindly admire and follow any leaders, including the current Prime Minister or anyone else. It is important to not become a puppet and be mentally independent.
Yesterday, I watched Dr. Mahathir swore in as the 7th Prime Minister on my phone while having my late meal in the hawker center.
