The WhatsApp Phenomenon

Nowadays WhatsApp become trending as many of us using WhatsApp as the main communication compare to phone calls. For me, WhatsApp makes my life easy. All my friends and family can reach me easily and fast, just you need internet though, haha...

How many groups do you have in WhatsApp?

Well for me, I have 20 groups 😆, some are really active, and some just once in a while. Thank God, if all are active, my phone will hang and phone memory also will full 😅. It is good to have groups of friends as we can keep in touch with them anytime. But, if all are active at one time, haha...you will be very busy to read and replying these groups, and sometimes I wrongly reply to other groups haha...😂. Reading to all these groups also, can occupy a lot of our time. Luckily mine only active 2-3 groups at one time.

What are the cons of WhatsApp?

If we have many groups, our time occupies a lot for reading and replying, and this will shorten our time with family especially to our children. Your head will always look down, and this will make communication with your surroundings will be less. This will reduce your quality time with them. It really pissed me off whatsapping during eating time, especially with my family. For me, eating with family is very important. Time that you can spend time with them, eating and chit chatting about anything you have done the whole day. Unless you need to reply it urgently.

So, for me it is okay to have Whatsapp as the benefits are there. It is just, you need to restrict your time to it if you with your family or friends around, especially when you with your children. They need you accompany them. With that also, you will not miss anything about them, see their changes of development. For your parents, they need you  around, to talk with them and spend time with them.
