Interdependence is an important leadership principle. This leadership principle has two dimensions, one is independence, and the other, dependency.

Every leader has to be aware that one has to be able to function independently in certain roles and responsibilities, if not, the leader can’t function effectively by being too dependent on others. However, the leader has to be able to work with others as no leader is able to do everything by oneself. Only by partnering with others, the person is able to accomplish greater thing.

Therefore, the leader capable of doing one’s job independently is a good leader. Such leader becomes a great leader by capable of providing leadership for the team to work with one another to achieve their common goal.

彼此依靠是一项重要的领导原则。这个领导原则有两方面，即一方面是独立性，另外则是依赖性。

每个领导者都必须意识到，自己必须能够独立履行某些职责，而领导者不能过于依赖他人以致不能有效執行任务。另一方面，领导者必须能够与他人一起工作，因为领导者不可能自己做所有的事情。只有通过与他人合作，这个人才能够完成更大的事情。

一位能够独立完成工作的领导者是好领导。然而，若这位领导者能够为团队成员提供领导力，促使大家彼此配搭实现共同的目标，他则可以成为一位伟大的领导者。
