That is for sure, it is fantastic!
I've never found a place with better scenery than the South Island. Queenstown is getting more publicity though, last time I was there the traffic was pretty bad!
Last Tuesday the traffic was ok. It is not safe to drive on the South Island, you don't know where to look.
