I believe you are right about everything is known. Every decision we make and every action we take is already known . This idea is not meant to take away our freedom but give it to us.
Alan Watts , spiritual teacher explained this simply by stating that we have infinite choices in every given moment. All those infinite possibilities are known by our collective consciousness. It is our intention which through our decisions shape our reality.We can call our collective consciousness god or whatever we want.
There is no right or wrong ,they lie on the same scale ,just like hot and cold. Contrast or differences are needed to create an identity and vice versa.
we do have infinite choices, yet consequences cannot be avoided. If our actions impinge negatively on those around us (eg crime), they are detrimental not only to the victim but the aggressor too. Certain actions may not impact those around us, but we are a specie that is communal and interactive.
