Tour Perspective of Jeandre (Pikkie) Swanepoel
2 years of hard work is finally paying off. It's almost cereal. We on our way to Europe, boys!
With the memories of the South-African leg of the tour still fresh in my memory, im driving towards the airport. It went well. We played a bunch of killer shows. Especially the Cape Town leg in Stellenbosch, our home town. I even got to take my shirt off! The immediate response is that people our enjoying our new sound. This makes my little hard flutter!
The flight to Dubai was very interesting. Since coming to South Africa I have never travelled abroad and was really exited to find out how the experience would be. The inflight entertainment is amazing. They have 2 hour highlight packages from huge international festivals like Glastonbury and Coachella! I spent almost 9 hours just taking notes of all these performances and brainstorming ideas of how to Implement it into our own. Playing the perfect set this next 2 weeks is all i can think about. Needless to say, my arse hurts after 9 hours of sitting.
We change flights in Dubai, and if you have ever been there you will know that its Gigantic! Ive had quite the laugh paying 93 Rand for 2 Large cokes. Sleep deprived and stinky we arrived in Schipol! Its amazing. Our accommodation is amazing and keep a look out for latest video! Its a hoot!
