Often times, life is referred as the "The greatest teacher".

As sad as it may sound, many people barely comprehend the real meaning of this cliché....on the other hand, a greater number of people who tend to comprehend its meaning only do so from a half point of view and as such, their viewing and understanding of the cliché isn't complete.

A lucid look at reasons while this greater number of people who tend to understand the concept of life as the greatest teacher, you would come to agree that they are meaningfully referring to life experiences, pitfalls, and disappointments which are only but a part of what life teaches....

Thought after thought, I have always marvelled at the wisdom of the biblical Solomon who happens to be the wisest of all, comparing his wisdom to ours knowing fully well what we have in our disposition is only but a fragment of what he has in abundance..perhaps even before his divine wisdom, I suppose he already had a wisdom of his own to know that he needed a greater wisdom than he already wisdom in other words "wisdom" attracts "wisdom"...

Look, a part of that wisdom entails that you learn from everything around you.....

life is always teaching something at every moment point. Solomon learnt by exploring possibly everything around him to induce knowledge...

Regularly, I do pay visit to my little crop plantings at home, where I happened to have maize, ...just like every other visit, I would come and go, repeating the same activity weekly..

But, this last visit was absolutely intriguing.
It is said that a picture paints a thousand words, but I guess this time it has painted in millions..

A closer look at my tender growing maize stem, I noticed that due to a heavy rain fall and wind, most of the maize stems lost their original balance and got bent while some where crushed by the wind owing to the fragility of their nature.....

Not the harm done by the wind caught my attention, but what caught my attention was what most of us (I inclusive) who have seen such things fell to notice and learn.

This picture depicts a maize planting, crushed by a heavy rain fall and wind. This maize planting couldn't stand firm against it's storm, it allowed the storm to crush it, it allowed life challenges to bring it out down.......

It can as well be likened to we humans, most who get crushed by life challenges, who wither when storms comes their way, unable to stand against it and bows to it...they can't just find a way to survive the storm, they give up too quickly maybe forgetting they were supposed to bear fruits.

Do not be like the maize, don't give up too easily. That wind that destroys crop plants, should refine and add energy to you..

It's your boy @donnest
