The Beatitudes Can Make The Steemit Community Happy and Bless

Greetings of blessedness steem buddies! Steemit is a community that can make used of the teachings of Jesus. Just the teachings of Jesus, steemit is a platform full of parables. Just the teaching of Jesus, we can envision in steemit the ways of beatitudes.

Beatitudes means blessed or happy. It comes from the Latin word "beatitudo" meaning happy or blessed. In greek, makarismos, an act of extolling the good fortune of person or pronouncing someone's blessings. If we apply the beatitudes in the steemit community, everyone will be benefited.

The Beatitudes are the center of Jesus preaching. It tackles the given to the chosen people since Abraham. The said promises of the Beatitudes were fulfilled through ordering them to no longer possessions in a territory but merely to the kingdom of heaven. The Beatitudes reflect both the countenance of Jesus Christ and His charity, at the same time they express the vocation of the People of God who are with the glory of his passion and resurrection. Furthermore, they shed on the actions and attitudes which characterize the life of a Christian. And finally, the Beatitudes are the "paradoxical promises" which sustain us with hope in spite of trials and tribulations and they announce the blessings and rewards already ascertained to those who faithfully lived them like Mary and the Saints.

Here are the Eight Beatitudes from St. Matthew and how we can apply this in the steemit community.

1. How blessed are the poor in spirit: the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Being poor as such is not a praised by Jesus. It is the effect of poverty, when we are deprived of material wealth, power, prestige and other signs of worldly success that we develop that receptivity to God. To become poor in spirit, is to trust God completely for everything. We place our confidence and trust in God alone and not on material things. After all, these material things are nothing. In the final analysis, what counts is our salvation. We can only attain this through complete trust and obedience to God.
In the steemit community, the newbies and minnows like me are the poor in spirit, we may be low in steem power but with trust of the platform we can attain our success in the community. It's all about trust and believing the entire platform and the community.

2. Blessed are the gentle; they shall have the earth as inheritance.
If we want to follow Jesus, we want to be like him: gentle and meek. The gentle are humble. The do not act out arrogance, out of jealousy or when hurt and despised, right away seek revenge. The gentle resolve his/her problem in good will, no hatred, no rancor, no ill-will and no violence.
In the steemit community, we should always be humble. This is not about how far our reputation takes us, its about being and staying humble. We should always remember that its the support of our fellow steemians that we have reached our goal.

3. Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted.
The Beatitudes gives us hope and consolation. When confronted with loss and sorrow, the Christian need not become bitter or sour, be revengeful and violent. Our model here is suffering servant-our Lord Jesus Christ who is patiently suffering and who endured persecution and trials with fortitude. With Christ we have a sure renewal in the Father.
Steemit likewise give us hope and consolation by sharing our teardrops stories. We are reminded that if there are tears of sorrows, there are also tears of joy.

4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for uprightness; they shall have their fill
We are called to get involved in the affairs of the world, of the church, of our country. We have to hunger and thirst for justice, foster respect, dignity and equality to all people. Within our capabilities, we have to promote a truly human life.

5. Blessed are the merciful; they shall have mercy shown them
The Father's love and forgiveness are always bestowed upon us without our deserving. The same with the steemit platform we are asked to extend mercy, love and forgiveness to one another. We need to remember that God is loving and merciful and he cares for us all. The community likewise teaches us to care for all.

6. Blessed are the pure in heart; they shall see God
We are called by Jesus to be pure in heart. Steemit community also expresses the need for us to be pure in heart.

7. Blessed are the peacemakers; they shall be recognized as children of God
As followers of Christ we must live in love and peace with oneself and one another. The steemit platform also teaches us the duty to be a bridge and to treat each one in harmony.

8. Blessed are those when are persecuted in the cause of uprightness; the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs
At the end of all the struggles we reach and received our reward, be it in the Kingdom of Heaven and the Steemit Community!
