Techno Friday - Plannt by Shinra

Back again with my favorite tag of the week: #technofriday! This is always my excuse to bring out a good track from my favorite genre to kick off the weekend and today I've got a bomb of a track from a new artist that I'm excited to share.

This track has so much of what I'm always looking for in music rolled into one incredibly impressive track. Shinra doesn't exactly go for the normal four four approach here, instead opting for a breakbeat that provides a welcome break from the dominant sound in techno at the moment towards the end of the night. There are some powerful melodies here that have such and uplifting vibe about them, but once the acid lines kicks in it begins to sound like a more modern take on UR's classic The Final Frontier, which is a compliment of the highest regard. It is hard to deny the frantic energy that this provides, but the chords really make this perfect as an uplifting end of the night closer letting the crowd go in the best way possible as indicated by Ettap Kyle's recent Boiler Room set.
