In this article it's about electronic cat toys. These toys mostly want to simulate a mouse. But... well, cats are smart animals.

There are a lot of cat toys out there, but few are electronic. There is hardly any electric cat toy that can entertain your cat longer than 5 minutes.
But there is one, it's called Mousr.

This robotic mouse was designed from Ph.D. students in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois. They launched the project over Kickstarter and it was interesting to see, how the prototype changed. They tested the mini robot a lot and after some delay, the Mousr was on market. I can assure you that this toy will keep your cat busy for a long time.
It is important to give the toy only a short period of time for cats are fastly (physically and mentally) exhausted.
10 minutes for 2 or 3 times a day should be enough.

That's certainly very interesting looking. I guess the rather fast and erratic movements "make it," although our cats tend to run out of interest remarkably fast, when it comes to new toys.
