Apple will soon stop iTunes services. How will this action affect the music industry?

Looks like they're actually going to replace it with another app:

They did this with iPhoto and Photos apps a while back, this looks like it's just bringing the desktop apps in line with all the other apple products.  Not that big of a deal, to be honest.

Is it confirmed? I think WWDC starts today(not sure) but been wayyy too busy to pay attention to anything.

Well, but what about the offline backup feature? No longer u can backup your iDevices to your PC/Mac ? and restore it (to a new or refurbished device) ?

You're making a whole lot of noise about nothing, amigo. All the functionality of iTunes will still be there. They're just splitting it into different apps. Music, Photos, Movies, and mobile devices. You're fine.

ok.. so there is this "Mobile Devices" thing... else have to fork money for iCloud storage
