The Division 2: there will be an Augmented Reality experience at launch
Ubisoft , in collaboration with DDB Paris and Make Me Pulse , announces the Echo experience of The Division 2 , which combines augmented reality and GPS technology.
The Division 2 Echo experience allows fans of the series to delve into the game's plot. Through over 50 stories users will discover the daily routine of the inhabitants of Washington DC As in Pokemon Go , numerous points of interest such as food stores, schools, gas stations or banks can be found in all the cities, integrating the experience with life real. The coordinates of the locations will be provided to users through the GPS integrated into mobile devices.
Discovering the Echo stories will allow you to get exclusive rewards and in-game items that will be unlocked automatically in Ubisoft Club at the launch of The Division 2.
With the development led by Massive Entertainment in collaboration with seven other studios that rotate in the orbit of Ubisoft, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is set seven months after the spread of a lethal virus in the city of New York. We are in a Washington DC now devastated and about to capitulate. As agents of the Division now veterans, players are the last hope against the total collapse of the company, while some factions struggle to gain power.
